The KSA-38 is designed to study wells while monitoring the development of oil and gas fields.

It has two docking devices, the upper one (MRV-38) for connecting the
flow meter module and the lower one (MRN-38) for connecting various fixture modules.

Information is transmitted via single-core cable in digital format.
